The Finish
Our Aged Brass finish is created from solid brass that has been carefully aged by hand. Each piece is cleaned, hand-brushed, and treated in a bronzing solution to develop a rich, dark brown tone.
Naturally imperfect, this finish embraces subtle variations in colour and texture. These unique differences come from the underlying brass, giving every piece its own distinctive character.
The Character
Aged Brass is a living finish that continues to evolve over time. As it ages, it develops in unique and unpredictable ways—some areas may lighten, others darken — gradually forming a varied, distinctive patina that adds to its character and charm.
Care & Maintenance
To keep your brassware looking its best, dry residual water away regularly or after each use. We recommend occasional cleaning as follows:
- Go over the product with mild soapy water and a soft cloth
- Rinse off with clean water
- Dry gently with a soft, clean cloth.
If fluids such as soap or toothpaste come into contact with the surface, simply rinse and dry promptly to avoid more pronounced markings.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning.
We seal our Aged Brass finish with a beeswax. An occasional reapplication of the beeswax will help maintain the finish.
